A small team of two Striders travelled to Athlone for the Leinster Indoor Championships today. First up was Max Murphy in the U16 1500m. Continuing his recent streak of good form, Max knocked 16 seconds off his PB with a blistering 4:17. He was pipped on the line into 4th place but qualifies for the Nationals.

Next up was Daniel Redmond who was making his Track debut. Unfazed, Daniel qualified for the U15 Long Jump final, where he finished 5th. Next up was the 60m. Daniel came 2nd in his heat, qualifying for the final, where he finished 8th, just 0.3 sec off the medals. What a great start to his track career!
